Carinthia Card

Europe's only biosphere park in gentle high mountains with the largest spruce, larch and stone pine forest in the Eastern Alps. The 34 km Nockalm Road leads through it. It starts in Innerkrems and leads via Eisentalhöhe, Karlbad, Grundtal, Schiestelscharte and Winkltal to Ebene Reichenau and back to the Sonnalm.

Monkey Mountain adventure

156 macaques await you in the wild. Experience up close how the monkeys go about their natural behavior. You will be accompanied by the zookeepers and zoologists.

Eagle Arena

Experience birds of prey and owls flying in the open sky in a 45-minute demonstration by a falconer. The birds return after breathtaking flights.

Landskron castle ruins

Afterwards, it's worth spending some time at Landskron Castle and indulging in culinary delights in the historical ambience with a wonderful view of the town of Villach.

You can reach the wooden observation tower using one of the most modern panoramic elevators in Europe or via the stairs. At 920 m high, it is the highest of its kind in the world. Up there you can enjoy a unique panoramic view over Carinthia, Lake Wörthersee and the Keutschach lake valley. Down you go with the highest dry slide in Europe: start at a height of 51.4 m, length 120 m

A visit to Hochosterwitz Castle provides fascinating insights into the history of the former fortifications. The armory, weapons collection and interesting collection of paintings from the Renaissance make for a varied day out.
You can reach the top on foot through the 14 historic castle gates or comfortably with the panorama lift (price not included in the Carinthia Card).

Discover the Mölltal Glacier during your summer vacation in Bad Kleinkirchheim. The hiking paradise offers hiking enjoyment for every taste with various tours in different levels of difficulty. Eight mountain lakes and a fantastic panorama over the surrounding peaks of the Hohe Tauern await you!

The Kärnten Card includes a daily ascent and descent to the mountain station at 2,800 m (without sports equipment). Please note that a photo ID must be presented and a chip card deposit of EUR 5 must be paid in cash on site.

You can reach the Heidi Alm on the Falkert in approx. 20 minutes by car. The children's adventure park in the Nockberge mountains at 1,875 m offers something for everyone. The world's only Heidi Alm is nestled on approx. 3 hectares of Swiss stone pine forest,

With over 100 figures, the story "HEIDI, your world is the mountains" is retold and brought to life for young and old. A marmot enclosure with the marmots Vroni, Beppo and Ferri can be observed up close.

Tips: Giant slide for children, fishing pond for young and old - fishing rods can be hired for a fee.

An alpine wildlife park with many attractions is approx. 5 kilometers from the hotel. The wildlife park is very child-friendly with a playground and petting zoo. Canadian wilderness awaits you in the Grizzly World section with a walk-in bear den and leopard den. You can marvel at local lake and river fish specimens in the fish museum. The forest playground is new.

Visit the most species-rich venomous snake exhibition in Europe! You will find mambas, cobras, vipers and rattlesnakes in around 130 terrariums. Naturally completely harmless, but with exciting information and explanations. You can also see native reptiles in naturally furnished outdoor terrariums.

Experience a ride on the Lendcanaltramway and immerse yourself in the past century. The City Transport Museum shows the development of public transport in Klagenfurt and the Cinema Museum the history of film since 1886. Exciting special exhibitions round off the offer!
